Man Shot During Armed Robbery At Apartment Complex

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A 21-year-old is recovering after being shot in the stomach during an armed robbery in an apartment breezeway at 11100Walnut Hill Lane around 11:20 p.m. Saturday.
18-year-old Daetreen M. Williams was arrested.
The victim told police he passed Williams in the breezeway when Williams and two other young men approached him and another person from behind. One of the suspects put a gun to the the victim's back and demanded his and the other person's property. Police say they gave the suspects what they wanted and the suspects ran off.
But the victim followed the suspects to get a better description of them when one of them noticed him and fired his handgun striking the victim in the stomach.
Police also arrested a 16-year-old whose name is not being released.
