Man Sentenced For Rape Of 62 Year Old Woman
McKINNEY (CBSDFW.COM) – A Collin County judge handed down a 62-year prison sentence for a man convicted of an aggravated sexual assault of his former neighbor.
Michael Mason, formerly of Frisco, knocked on his 62-year-old victim's door and asked to use her phone.
Prosecutors say once she let him in her home, he raped her at knifepoint.
Before leaving the home, Mason stole the victim's purse and purchased items with her credit cards the next day.
Plano Police arrested him three days after the sexual assault.
