Man Missing After Falling Into White Rock Creek

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Fire-Rescue has been searching the area of White Rock Creek on Monday after a fisherman fell into the water and was not able to be found.

Officials said two men were fishing along the bank of the creek when one of the men fell in. The second man went in to rescue his friend but wasn't able to find him.

Thermal imaging is being used to search for the man's body in the water, but the rescue was temporarily suspended early Monday afternoon because of a large number of water moccasins in the creek.

Dallas Fire-Rescue has handed over the search to divers from the police department after they were not able to find anything.
