Man Struck By Train After Ignoring Warning Siren

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – A man was struck and killed by a train Saturday afternoon before 2 p.m.

According to police the man is said to not have responded to multiple warnings from the oncoming train, according to the conductor of the Union Pacific train.

The accident happened on the tracks just north of E. Rosedale St near Tierney Rd in Fort Worth.

The body was found near the tracks east of S. Hughes Avenue.

Union Pacific is in charge of the accident investigation, according to Fort Worth Police.

The name of the victim has not been released.
