Man Dead After Shooting In Oak Cliff

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A man is dead after a shooting at an Oak Cliff apartment complex. It happened at about 1:00 a.m. early Tuesday morning at the Estelle Village Apartments, located in the 5900 block of Highland Village Drive, not far from Bonnie View Road.
Police arrived at the scene to find one man dead inside of an apartment unit with apparent gunshot wounds. The Dallas County Medical Examiner was called to the scene. The victim was later identified as 36-year-old Christopher Cooper.
Distraught family members also arrived at the scene shortly after the shooting.
Authorities are still investigating this case. There has been no word yet about possible suspects, or what might have led up to the shooting.
