Man Blames Smart Meter For Fire
An Arlington man blames installation of a new smart meter with a fire that heavily damaged his home. Fire officials say there was no meter on the house when it caught fire, around noon. Tom Dolan says earlier Oncor crews had trouble installing his new meter. Later Dolan smelled smoke and discovered his attic on fire. Fire investigators now look into the exact cause. Fire officials say there was no meter on the house. They're investigating the cause of the blaze. Oncor is looking into the incident.
