Man Beaten & Shot Dead In Dallas Home
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Tensions are running high in a west Dallas neighborhood after a 62-year-old man was killed in a home Wednesday night. The murder happened at about 10:30 p.m. in the 4100 block of Ladale Drive.
The victim has been identified as Nathan Dotson. Police said that he was beaten and shot to death, and it may have been part of a robbery attempt. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots, and detectives learned that unknown black male suspects then fled from the home. It is not yet known if the suspects actually got away with anything, as police said that the home had been ransacked.
Dotson's body was found with multiple wounds, lacerations and other types of trauma. Additional details about this violent incident have not been released, as police are still conducting an investigation.
Authorities have not released any further information about the possible suspects in this case.
