FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Fort Worth Police have arrested a man suspected of setting a donation building on fire at the Northside Inter Community Agency located at 1600 Circle Park Blvd.

Neffy Adan Acosta, 39, was taken into custody by Fort Worth Fire Department arson investigators and the Fort Worth Police fugitive unit around 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18.  Acosta is charged with arson of a building, a second-degree felony.

His bond is set at $50,000.

Surveillance video released by the Fort Worth Fire Department shows a suspect -- who is accompanied by a small child -- go through some donated items outside of a storage building at the location at about 9:20 p.m. that evening. Officials said in the video, the suspect can be seen going around the corner of the storage building. The child appears to get back into the vehicle shortly thereafter and the vehicle departs. Then, about a minute later, the building appears to be on fire.

On August 17 and 18, the the Fort Worth Fire Department's Investigations Unit received many leads that ultimately led them to Acosta.

A spokesperson for NICA told CBS11 two metal buildings caught fire. They said the buildings were holding areas for donations and they contained boxes of donated goods described as "mostly clothes."
