"Mama Bear" Gets New Wheels After Suspect Crashes Into Her Car

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -The woman we've come to know as "Mama Bear", since her heroic act of taking down a suspect on the run Wednesday, is now the owner of a new KIA.
"My heart is beating really hard right now," says and excited Jessica Liesmann.
When Liesmann came to Southwest KIA she thought she was getting a free loaner car for awhile. Bill Dickason had other ideas.
"We're going to donate a car and you're going to tell me which one you want," Dickason told Liesmann.
"Oh my God, I'm shaking. Amazing. Amazing. It means the world to me. Like, literally everything. For all the generosity. I can't believe it. I just can't. It's amazing," says an excited Dickason.
KISS-FM first approached Dickason this morning about the helping out Liesmann. The "Kid Kradick in the Morning" personality "Big Al" Mack suggested that Southwest Kia donate a loaner car.
Bil Al was there to hold Liesmann's hand as she received her donation.
Liesmann grabbed viewers attention when a suspect driving a stolen car slammed into her van. Her boyfriend and 13-year-old son were inside.
Liesmann pulled the suspect out of the car and held him for police and the Mama Bear the legend was born. Today, she says she's blessed.
"We all made it without anything. The guy had a gun we didn't even see that, we didn't know that. So I feel God has had His hands on us."
Liesmann decided on a KIA Sedona van. To make the donation extra sweet, Liesmann was also gifted a stuffed bear. A teddy bear for a "Mama Bear".
The generosity was overwhelming for Liesmann who cried as she got inside the Sedona when it all hit home the totality of the generosity.
"I cannot believe that right now. I just can't crying or I'll start crying, okay? I'll try not to, They're happy tears."
Dickason tells CBS 11, he was moved to make the gift when he learned Liesmann lost a child recently and that is what motivated the Mama Bear response.
The car is totally paid for, including taxes. All totaled about $ 35,000.
