FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM)- Fort Worth police are questioning a man they've said is extremely dangerous.Friday officers arrested 27-year old Jose Carreon.

Investigators think he's the man who stabbed a worker at Ridgmar Mall Thursday night. Many regular patrons are shocked and bothered by the murder at the popular mall.

"I think it's really scary. I mean I grew up not far from here and I don't remember anything ever happening like that so close to home, " said mall patron Diana Lawler.

Ashley Tremanie agreed with Lawler's concerns. It's scary that something like that could happen right here. I mean, I know it's not a shooting but still a man died over what, we don't know," said Tremanie.

Police are also unsure about the change in appearance in some of pictures of the murder suspect, Carreon, but they show a dramatic transformation investigators haven't yet explained.

Police said one photo shows how Carreon appeared as he waited for his victim last night in the parking lot of Ridgmar Mall.

"It is believed that the victims car was disabled. And that the suspect was lying in wait for the victim that he knew was lying in waiting for him to get off work from the mall," explained Fort Worth Police Department spokesperson Tracey Knight.

Police still haven't identified the victim, a man in his mid 30's. Investigators tell CBS 11 News that the victim may have been arguing with Carreon over a woman. Police say Carreon stabbed the victim as he was trying to run away.

Since Ridgmar Mall's opening in the 1970's, police have only seen isolated incidents. This was the first murder reported at the mall.
