EULESS (105.3 The Fan) - Indiana Pacers Forward/Center Myles Turner gave his aunt and grandmother a surprise of a lifetime when he showed up to a family gathering with a brand new car for them.
Turner credits his aunt and grandmother for getting him places and for always supporting him as he grew up playing basketball.
"Don't forget who got you here, don't ever forget the people that first got you where you are. I got a lot of love for my family and this is a small thing I can do," Turner says in the video.
Turner, a Bedford native, went to Euless Trinity High School. He was the 11th overall pick out of the University of Texas in the 2015 NBA Draft.
In February, Linda Martin, the Mayor of Euless, named February 11th Myles Turner day.
The 20-year-old is hosting a basketball camp at Trinity High School on August 11th and 12th.
Turner averaged 10.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in his rookie season.
