Lead Emissions Fight In Frisco Resumes Tuesday

FRISCO (CBSDFW.COM) - The environmental tug of war in Frisco resumes Tuesday.

Frisco city staffers are recommending the planning and zoning commission deny two plans for Exide's battery recycling plant.  The commission meets tomorrow.

Exide wants permits to make $20 million in improvements to reduce lead emissions at the Frisco plant.

The city is under pressure from citizen groups who want to see the plant closed.
