Latest Oak Lawn Robbery, Assault Appears To Be "Bias Crime" Says DPD

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Police are investigating another violent robbery in Oak Lawn.
They say the latest on happened Saturday around 10:30 p.m. as a 54-year-old man was walking to parking lot after leaving a bar on Cedar Springs Road.
Police say two men came up from behind him, knocked him down, beat him and robbed him.
The victim told police one of the suspects used a slur against gay people. Police say the victim appears to be the target of "a bias crime."
The victim was bruised and sought medical attention on his own and is going to be okay.
Police say officers have spent the day canvasing the neighborhood for witnesses and possible surveillance video.
The suspects are described as white men about 35-years-old, 5'9" and 6'4", approximately 180 pounds each.
Police categorize this as attack number 14 in a three month period.
