Knee injuries keep Kosier, Witten off field
Very brief press conference with Wade today as Jason Witten and Kyle Kosier did not work because of their knee injuries. Funny part of the presser was the conversation over Dez Bryant's $55k dinner tab Monday night. Said Wade, "I think I had a sandwich Monday night. I'm not big on hazing. If it makes someone uncomfortable, I'm not for that."
Wade was not slamming the Monday night dinner. Just making a statement about his overall opinion of those situations.
Dez and Roy Williams didn't want to talk about the now famous Monday night dinner. Big Deal? Not.
So here is the word on the $55,000 tab that was rung up at Pappas Steakhouse Monday night:
The tab was left with Dez Bryant. Payback is a bitch. Roy Williams did not talk about it today, nor did Dez, but that is one helluva bill to pay.
I'm told there were 30 people there and some of them were taking bottles of wine home, etc. Anyway you slice it, it is a funny story.
It doesn't matter who you are...$55k is a new BMW. The Cowboys are currently working out and will do so again tomorrow, then take the weekend off (and Friday).
