Kim Kardashian Leaves Dallas After Mavs Game
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Kim Kardashian has left Dallas, at least for now. She arrived in town on Tuesday to offer a helping hand for younger sister Khloe, who recently moved to North Texas along with her husband, Dallas Mavericks player Lamar Odom.
Although Kim's visit was short, the sisters certainly made the most of their time together in Dallas. They were spotted shopping at Stanley Korshak on Wednesday, and visiting the Dallas World Aquarium. Khloe tweeted this picture of herself with a leopard.
The Kardashian duo was later in attendance Wednesday night at the Mavericks pounded the Phoenix Suns. An unnamed source told gossip website HollywoodLife.com that Khloe and Kim were treated "like rock stars" at the American Airlines Center. Check out more pictures from the game.
The source went on to say that Mavs owner Mark Cuban went the extra mile to make sure that the Kardashians felt at home in Dallas. "The staff were told that if there was any type of anti-Kardashian sign or chant," the source said, "that the fans would be reprimanded, removed and the signs taken away."
CBS 11 News has not heard of any such instances arising at Wednesday's game.
But then, just as quickly as she arrived, Kim vanished – returning to life in Los Angeles. In a tweet on Thursday, Kim said, "Its been real Dallas but there's nothing like Home Sweet Home! Back on my LA grind!"
You can catch Kim's journey to North Texas later this year on the E! Network. The second season of "Khloe & Lamar" is set to debut next month. Kim's visit to Dallas will surely be a highly promoted episode. And do not be surprised if Kim returns to North Texas soon to visit her sister again, and get another episode in the can.
