Khloe Kardashian Dishes Dallas With "Bachelor" Host
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Reality television star Khloe Kardashian has finished her second day on the air as host of a Dallas radio show. After starting four minutes late (Tardy host? Bad program planning? It's not clear.) listeners were greeting with a now familiar "Hey, dolls!"
Khloe first fielded questions from viewers on Tuesday afternoon. One caller asked how a celebrity like Khloe could also manage being a good housewife. "You really have to make priorities for yourself and you have to set boundaries," advised Khloe. "My marriage is my top and first priority." Khloe added that she supports her husband – Lamar Odom with the Dallas Mavericks – by attending all of his home games. In return, he Lamar follows Khloe during the offseason. "It's a good give-and-take."
Khloe recently moved to Dallas with Lamar after he was traded to the Mavericks from the Los Angeles Lakers. Her radio show – The Mix Up – airs weekdays on Mix 102.9 in Dallas, and can be heard online around the world.
A second caller wondered how difficult it was for the host to be away from her family. "It's definitely been hard," Khloe said. But, she added, the entire Kardashian clan loves Dallas. Her brother, sisters and mother visit often. And sister Kourtney actually went to SMU for two years.
With about half of the show gone, Khloe began an interview with "The Bachelor" host and Dallas native Chris Harrison. Khloe's mother, Kris Jenner – who has been in the studio for both shows – inadvertently took the reigns. Jenner, it would seem, is quite the "Bachelor" aficionado, and Khloe noted that Lamar is a big fan, too.
Khloe took control again to talk Dallas with Harrison, who is a proud Mavs supporter and Mark Cuban backer. Harrison recommended that Khloe and Lamar try dining at Terelli's on Greenville Avenue – a favorite of the "Bachelor" host.
But the chat with Harrison was mistakenly interrupted by a Kelly Clarkson tune, and then Khloe was soon signed off for the day – three minutes earlier than scheduled – without so much as a "Bye, dolls!"
