Khloe Kardashian Dallas' Newest 'Santa Claus' With Hospital Toy Drive
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - It looks like Khloe Kardashian is warming up to Texas. Kardashian and husband Lamar Odom recently relocated to Dallas after Odom's trade to the Mavs, setting off a flurry of activity the entertainment world.
Kardashian has already been spotted in Dallas, including a trip to McKinney Avenue and to Lamar's first game at the American Airlines Center.
In her brief time in Dallas she's already adopted a cause, helping out kids at Children's Medical Center of Dallas.
Kardashian has even already organized a toy drive for kids at Children's. On Wednesday she'll be at Dallas City hall from noon-2 collecting toys, signing autographs and doing what Kardashians does best — posing for photos with adoring fans.
She is asking for any new upwrapped toy still in its packaging, and specifically asked for gifts for teenagers at the hospital.

Kardashian's fundraiser was welcome news for Children's. Hospital spokeswoman Laurie Holloway said Kardashian's timing couldn't have been better. "We feel like Santa Claus has come in the form of Khloe."
Holloway says the gifts for teens are especially important. "When people give gifts to us, they usually don't think about teens at a children's hospital."
Holloway adds they're very appreciative of Khloe Kardashian's effort, and look forward to working with her while she and Odom are in town.
