Kaufman County Residents, Judge Hopeful Arrests in 3 Murders Imminent
KAUFMAN COUNTY (CBS 11 NEWS) - Area pastors presented Kaufman County Commissioners Court Judge Bruce Wood with nearly 200 prayer cards filled out by parishoners of 15 churches in the community.
As he accepted the cards, Wood said, "We will pass these around and make sure everyone in the courthouse gets to see them."
Pastor Keith Head of the First United Methodist Church said, "It's easy to say we're praying for you, but to present them cards with written prayers is a tangible way of saying we really are lifting you up in prayer."

Their prayer wishes come as investigators continue to investigate the murders of District Attorney Mike McLelland, his wife Cynthia and assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse.
Investigators arrested former Kaufman County Justice of the Peace Eric Williams over the weekend for making a terroristic threat from his personal computer at home.
As investigators try to tie Williams to the three murders, Judge Wood says he and many others are hopeful for a quick resolution. "Perhaps filing charges in the next few days."
Sources have told CBS-11 that Williams will likely be charged with the murders.
As the I-Team first reported earlier this month, Williams was caught on a security camera taking computer equipment from the county.
Both Hasse and McLelland prosecuted Williams, and he was convicted.
Sources say investigators are looking to see if anyone else was involved with Williams.
He remains locked up in the county jail on a $3 million bond, and refuses to talk with reporters.
Investigators continue to study ballistics after finding 20 weapons inside Williams' Seagoville storage facility.
They also found a white Ford Crown Victoria inside, the same type of vehicle the McLellands' neighbors reported seeing on the night of the murders.
The crime scene tape is gone, flowers lay on the McLellands' driveway.
Neighbors like Mark McElrath, say there's a sense of relief Williams is in jail. "It makes me feel safer if he did it. I hope that's the case."
Judge Wood says, "All over the county, we do need this nightmare to start ending."
On Wednesday, the State Senate is expected to confirm Erleigh Norville Wiley as the new Kaufman County DA.
