Jury Convicts Plano Man In Brutal Home Invasion
A Collin County jury convicted a Plano man in a brutal home invasion.
The panel deliberated for less than 30 minutes before finding Stanley Ledbetter guilty of aggravated sexual assault. His victim wept in the front row as the verdict was read. Prosecutors say Ledbetter broke into the woman's Frisco apartment three years ago, forced her to perform a sexual act on him, tied her up, covered her face with a pillow and stabbed her five times. He also took her cash and debit card. Ledbetter could get life. The 32-year-old is currently appealing two life terms for convictions in Dallas County.
