Judge Deliberating Decision In Dallas Love Field Airport Gate Fight

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Delta Airlines will have to wait to learn whether it will be allowed to continue permanently operating out of Dallas Love Field Airport.
Atlanta-based Delta Airlines says it should be able to continue flying out of Love Field, since Gate 15 is a public gate, doesn't belong to any airline, and offers competition for customers. Dallas-based Southwest Airlines says Delta has to go since they already have the rights to fly out of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and are not locked out of the market.
Seventeen of the 20 gates at Love Field belong to Southwest and the airline operates 180 flights a day. Delta's agreement with Southwest, that expired on September 30, allowed Delta to operate five daily flights to Atlanta from Love Field.
Most don't expect Judge Kinkeade to rule on the matter until next week. And Delta is being allowed to continue flying can continue flying out of Love Field there is a ruling in the case.
