Judge Confirms That Dirk Is Now Married
DALLAS (AP/CBSDFW) - Dirk Nowitzki has put bachelorhood behind him.
The 34-year-old Dallas Mavericks star forward has married Jessica Olsson. State District Judge Craig Smith said Wednesday that he performed a July 20 wedding at Nowitzki's home in the posh Preston Hollow section of Dallas.
"It was an intimate ceremony with less then a dozen folks, very warm and very special" said Judge Smith.

After holding a traditional Kenyan ceremony on July 7th in Africa, Smith said Nowitzki and his bride were honeymooning somewhere in the Caribbean, where they will go through another wedding ceremony attended by close family members.
Olsson is the 31-year-old Kenyan-born associate director of the Goss-Michael Foundation art gallery in Dallas.
