Jose Canseco Passes Polygraph Test

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Days after he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Las Vegas, Jose Canseco passed a polygraph test and is now claiming he is the victim in this ordeal.

Canseco's accuser did not formally file charges, but Canseco announced on his Twitter page, and said again Saturday that Las Vegas detectives visited his house to ask him questions.

Canseco, who arrived in North Texas earlier this week to be a guest player for the Fort Worth Cats baseball team, wanted to take the polygraph test to prove his innocence.

When the test was over, Canseco and the polygraph administrator, Skip Ensley of Dallas Polygraph Services, announced he had passed with flying colors.

"There was no deception indicated on any of the charts," Ensley said.  "This is one of the cleanest charts I've seen.  I've been doing this since 1982.  It's a pleasure for me to do a polygraph and clear them of false allegations, that's why I do this."

Canseco said he has lost job opportunities as a result of the allegations and wanted to clear his name once and for all.

"It's completely unjust and this should not happen in America," Canseco said.

Canseco said he met his accuser at a gym more than a year ago when she had a boyfriend.

He said he does not know his accusers motivation but he is considering legal action against her.
