Jones: "Winning Is The Name-Of-The-Game, We've Got To Win"
DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - The Cowboys may be walking into FedEx field on Sunday feeling superior the lowly 3-11 Redskins, but according the Owner/General Manager Jerry Jones, the team has a lot to lose.
On his weekly radio show on 105.3 The Fan, Jones agreed that the Cowboys have the most to lose this weekend against the Redskins saying, "I think we do (have the most to lose), because we really diminish our chances of getting into the playoffs. I would have to say when you start a season, that's what you play for. Those are your goals"
The Jerry Jones Show
"Bottom line is, I didn't get into the NFL – a lot of people say I got in it to coach, and I say that with a wink – the bottom line is that winning has always been everything. The first night I got a chance to talk about being the new owner of the Cowboys I said 'we've got to win, winning is the name-of-the-game'...that's really what it's all about at the end of the day...winning the football game."
