Jones: Win Over Lions Would Be A Building Point For Cowboys
DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - "If we get a win out of this thing (Lions vs Cowboys), it will really be a building point for our team" said Cowboys owner/CEO Jerry Jones during the Jerry Jones Show on 105.3 The Fan.
In talking about Tony Romo Jones said "you have to be concerned about the health of the QB, I'm pround he's getting the ball out quick and that's very important."
Concerning Romo's recent injury problems Jones said "It looks like he's more confortable this week. I'm very impressed with how he's handled everything these last three weeks - even against the Jets. I thought he had a realy outstanding game."
And despite the plague of injuries to both the offense and defensive side of the Cowboys, Jones has complete confidence in his coaching staff saying" I'm pleased with Jason Garrett. He's doing an outstanding job of just keeping going and patching it together he's working with what he's got. "
