Jones: "We Don't Know" If Murray Will Play Against Browns
DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - Following the win over the Eagles in Philadelphia, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones tells The Fan how inspiring it is to see the team finally make some big plays. When it comes to the team making interceptions and punt returns, "As a coach...those plays make you look and feel brilliant" said Jones.
It was the special teams plays that changed the momentum of the game and ultimately gave the Cowboys a much need victory in the fight to stay relevant in the NFL playoff picture. Dwayne Harris, who has taken over for a less than effective Dez Bryant, ran back a punt return for a touchdown - something Bryant has not been able to recently. When asked if the 'Dez experiment' at punt return is over Jones responded "Dez can make plays when they're not supposed to be made, as well as anybody we've got on the team...No, I don't think it's over."

A big problem for the Cowboys, not only in this game but in all previous other, has been penalties. Dallas was penalized 13 times for 75 yards Sunday. There were 10 penalties on the defense, including a team season-high five on rookie cornerback Morris Claiborne. On the defensive side Jerry says the penalties, "have to be worked on."
With DeMarco Murray out for his fourth straight game due to injury, Jerry thinks the health of the team is what will ultimately lead to it's success. "I think we have a chance to be healthier going into the last seven games, and that is very important". Injuries have plagued both the Cowboys offense and defense in 2012.
With the Cowboys recently losing another key player on the defense in DE Kenyon Coleman due to a torn triceps muscle in his left arm, Jones is not sure about the return of DeMarco Murray for the game again st the Cleveland Browns only saying "We don't know, we're going to watch him and see what we've got." said Jones.
"The foot situation, you want it to be comfortable...all that's got to be right before he goes out there." said Jones
