DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told The Fan's Shan & RJ that eight games into Greg Hardy's first season with the Cowboys - he's not looking back.

Jones says he has no regrets on signing Hardy.

"I do look back, but realize those decision making times are gone - and really all that counts is the next day."

Jones also did not hesitate in answering the question of if he would consider holding Tony Romo back for the rest of the year with the Cowboys being in tough position to make the playoffs.

The Cowboys "can be a top team as we get into the last half of the season" said Jones. "There is no set of circumstances that we wouldn't play him (Romo) with hopes of winning that game and the rest of the ballgames."

Jones admitted he was surprised that the Cowboys have failed to win any games while Romo has been sidelined due to his collarbone injury saying "it never occurred to me that we would not win some football games in this stretch without Romo."
