DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - With two of his key offensive players down for several weeks, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wastes no time in moving forward and preparing to continue the fight with the men currently on his payroll.

Even tough Jones heaped high praise on backup quarterback Brandon Weeden for his performance against the Eagles, he wasn't shy about letting everyone know the Cowboys are bringing in other options for the team.

Jones told 105.3 The Fan, "We've got several ways to approach this, as far as bringing in a new quarterback that's not on the roster" but was quick to add that signing a backup, or even replacement, for Tony Romo "was not a sure thing."

As for the man who currently may have the starting QB job, Brandon Weeden, Jones doesn't see him getting replaced. "It's not our expectation at all" said Jones.

"We all feel good about what we've got," Jones said about Weeden, but expressed his concerns over the concussion he experienced in August at training camp.  "That is a reminder, you've got to have somebody behind him now."
