Jones Says Former Dallas Defensive Coach Ryan Would Be Great Head Coach
DALLAS, Texas (105.3 THE FAN) - Although he was let go by the Cowboys just a few years ago, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones still has plenty of praise for former Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan.
So much confidence in fact, Jones sees Ryan in a head coach position some day.
"I think Rob is going to make a great head coach" said Jones on his weekly show on 105.3 the Fan. "I haven't seen anybody that is better in front of a team - anybody better at motivating than Rob Ryan."

Jones and his Cowboys face Ryan and his Saints defense this weekend at AT&T Stadium.
"He's creative - if his players can execute...it's really a difficult thing for the opposing quarterback," said Jones, who even admitted that Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was an admirer of Ryan's defensive schemes.
As for the Cowboys defense, Jones gave the green light for two important members to return while one is still on the sideline.
"I'm glad Durant is back - and the possibility of Terrell McClain, and don't want to rule out Rolando McClain, but that's looking doubtful" said Jones.
