Jeff Ray's Sunday Morning Forecast
HOT START TO SEPTEMBER
Triple digit highs will be the story for the long holiday weekend. We'll hit 100° today and Monday with mostly sunny skies and south winds.
It will be humid both days. This hot and humid weather will continue into the short work week. We'll have afternoon highs hover around 100° each day as storm chances stay under 10% each day.
The next best chance of rain will come late Friday and Saturday as a strong cold front arrives. Highs on Friday will still get close to a 100° but it should be much cooler on Saturday behind the front. We'll put in a 30% chance of rain and keep highs around 90 degrees.
A cold front arrives late Friday or Saturday and brings an end to the 100 degree days along with some rainfall.
