Garrett Talks 'Romo Toughness' After Cowboys Win Over Seattle
DALLAS, Texas (105.3 THE FAN) - Following a big win over the defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett shares his praise of quarterback Tony Romo and the rest of the squad on his weekly show on 105.3 The Fan.
The Cowboys (5-1) were fired up on the way home after scoring the upset over Seahawks on their home turf. "It was a great feeling" said Garrett. "To beat them at their place, where they've been really good for the last couple of years - it was a big win for our team."

Before the Cowboys arrived the Seattle defense was giving up only 62 total rushing yards per game, an average of 3 yards per carry, but the Cowboys were able to pile up 162 yards - with DeMarco Murray leading the way with 115 yards.
What made the coach choose the running game against the Seahawks? "We have to run, that's the type of football team we are," said Garrett. "We had to quiet their defense down and quiet their crowd down - and we felt like running the ball was the best way to do that."
There was a little bit of a scare early in the game when Tony Romo got hit - and took a few seconds to get up, but Garrett wasn't too concerned. "He (Romo) got the wind knocked out of him and he had a little bit of a rib issue that he was dealing with throughout the game - but a lot of people underestimate the importance of toughness - it's physical toughness and mental toughness, and Tony certainly has both of that."
