FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - If you're looking for some entertainment on Friday night, then Billy Bob's Texas is the place to be, as J.B and the Moonshine Band takes the stage again. Their last show was extremely popular, so you won't want to miss them this time around. The music will start at about 10:30 p.m. and tickets begin at just $10.
The four guys stopped by the CBS 11 News studio early Friday morning to talk about their beginnings and their rise to fame, and then give a preview of what you can expect at the show. Check out the full interview in the video above, and their special live performance in the video below.
During the interview, J.B. shared the story of how these guys got together as a band. "I actually put out an open audition call in Tyler, Texas, where we live, and three people showed up... and that's Chris, Gabe and Hayden," the frontman said. "Just happens to fit and we're all great friends first, and then we just happen to play music together."
Something must be clickin' for the band, because they have notched millions of video views on YouTube and were named CMT's 'Listen Up Artist of the Month' for March 2013. Check out more stuff from J.B. and the Moonshine Band by visiting their official website.
