It's Villanova-Kansas In South Final, Oklahoma Meets Oregon In West Title Game

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- In South Regional play in Louisville, second-seeded Villanova shot 62 percent in eliminating Miami 92-69 to reach the Elite Eight and a Saturday game against Kansas. The top-seeded Jayhawks won their 17th straight game by beating Maryland, 79-63, to reach the South Regional final behind Perry Ellis's 27 points.
In the West Regional in Anaheim, Jordan Woodard scored 22 points and Buddy Hield had 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead Oklahoma past Texas A&M, 77-63. The Sooners now play West No. 1 seed Oregon, which eliminated Duke, 82-68, behind Dillon Brooks' 22.
Four more regional semifinal games are tonight. In the Midwest regional in Chicago, top seed Virginia takes on Iowa State, followed by upstart Syracuse against Gonzaga in the nightcap.
In the East regional semifinals in Philadelphia, Wisconsin plays Notre Dame in the first game.
That will be followed by East top seed North Carolina taking on Indiana in a matchup of college basketball blue bloods.
