Irving Police Search For Driver In Deadly Hit & Run

IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - The Irving Police Department are looking for the person responsible for a hit and run accident that left a man dead on September 2.

Police believe Timothy Niewolak, 52, was walking to work when he was struck by a vehicle in the 3700 block of Valley View Lane. Niewolak, was last seen alive around 11:00 p.m. and his body was found by a passing motorist just after Midnight, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The initial police investigation found debris from a Ford F-150 pickup truck at the scene. The truck would have sustained damage to the passenger side headlight and rear-view mirror areas. No other descriptive information is known about the vehicle.

Police are asking local businesses and or individuals that provide vehicle repair services to be on the lookout for the vehicle.
