Missing Father And Daughter Located In Irving

Update 10/28 - The Irving Police Department emailed Florez and his daughter were found safe early Sunday morning.  The father and daughter were found inside his pickup truck near the Trinity River near Loop 12.  The truck was stuck in the mud. 

Florez was taken to Parkland Hospital for a mental evaluation. Victoria was safe and returned to her mother.

IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - Police have asked for help in finding a missing father and daughter.

The Irving Police Department reported that 37-year-old James Florez and his 11-month-old daughter, Victoria has been missing since Friday night.

They were last seen at 6:30 p.m. Friday at his mother's house in Irving. Jame reportedly spoke with his wife around 7:00 p.m. When she arrived home at 9:00 p.m. both James and Victoria were gone. There was no sign of a struggle.

Investigators say James is a drug user who is known to disappear while using drugs. Police are concerned for Victoria's safety because of her father's drug usage.

James is described as 6'1, weighing about 240 pounds with has brown hair and eyes.

Victoria is 2'0, weighing about 25 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

Police say James drives a black 2002 Ford Ranger, with Texas license plate BF70017.

Police have asked that anyone with information about either James or Victoria Florez to call the Irving Police Department at (972) 273-1010.
