iPhone Class Action Suit filed against Apple and AT&T
A class action lawsuit has been filed in The District of Maryland against Apple and AT&T for the problems with the new iPhone.
The lawsuit contains several claims against both Apple and AT&T. Among them:
General Negligence
Defect in Design, Manufacture, and Assembly
Deceptive Trade Practices
Intentional Misrepresentation
Negligent Misrepresentation
Fraud by Concealment
Apple maintains the issues surrounding the new iPhone 4 are really not as serious as some have claimed. Statements issued earlier from Apple, claim the reception problems can be alleviated by holding the phone in a different position, or by keeping the iPhone in a case.
