Interstate Closed After Dummy Hand Grenade Found
DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Northbound and Southbound I- 35E in Dallas were temporarily closed at Royal and Walnut Hill early Tuesday morning after investigators found what they believed to be a hand grenade on the highway.
Officials say they discovered the grenade while searching a vehicle involved in a fatal accident Tuesday morning on the northbound side of Interstate 35E in Dallas.
The highway was temporarily shut down in both directions so the bomb squad could investigate.
It's not clear whether this is an actual hand grenade or a dummy.
