In Dallas, Hillary Clinton Criticizes Her Strongest Democratic Rival

DALLAS (CBS11) - At her first public appearance in Dallas during her run for President, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took aim at Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, her strongest Democratic rival.
But Mrs. Clinton didn't mention Sanders by name during her campaign rally at Mountain View College Tuesday afternoon.
Mrs. Clinton's campaign claimed Sanders would raise taxes on middle class families to pay for his health plan.
She told a crowd of 1500 to 1600 that everyday Americans need a raise, not a tax increase. "You might think that was common sense, but I was actually the only one on that debate stage who will commit to raising wages and not your taxes."
Senator Sanders' campaign responded by saying his health plan includes medicare for all.
His campaign says the middle class would be far better off because it would save taxpayers' money.
Sanders spent Tuesday on Capitol Hill where he took some votes.
Mrs. Clinton remains far ahead of Sanders in the polls in Texas.
But Sanders campaign said Tuesday they will go all out here and fight for every vote.
Texas is the big prize on the Super Tuesday March 1st primary, where 252 delegates are up for grabs.
At one point during Mrs. Clinton's rally Tuesday, a member of the crowd held up a giant sign questioning her accomplishments and listed past scandals involving Benghazi and Whitewater.
Someone ripped the sign out of his hand, and then he was escorted out.
