Images Released From Donut Shop Murder

Duncanville Police are releasing surveillance video from the donut shop where one man was killed and another injured last week.

On the video, police say, is a man that might have witnessed the shooting that occurred in the shop where Carlos Martinez, 38, was killed and Chul Woong Nam, 44, was wounded.

"The witness doesn't match the description of the suspect. We are merely seeking to speak with this individual about what he may have seen the morning of the murder," said Duncanville Detective Ralph Woods.

There has been a great deal of support expressed by the Duncanville community, which police hope will lead to identifying the witness or causing him to come forward. That support has already led to the creation of a fund where people can donate money to the victims' families.

Last week, Schepps Dairy announced that it is providing a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspect who killed Martinez and injured Nam.

The suspect, described as a medium built black male who was wearing a dark hoodie and dark bandana at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information regarding this crime or the suspect is asked to contact Duncanville Police Detective Ralph Woods at (972) 780-5037, ext. 2.
