FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - There are still some very dangerous ice spots on North Texas highways Tuesday morning, and a brother and sister found that out the hard way after a serious crash along Interstate-3o, between Beach Street and Riverside Drive in Fort Worth.
It was just before 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning when the two people were heading to work. However, while changing lanes, their vehicle slipped on a patch of ice and ended up rolling over three times. The car came to a rest upside down in the middle of the interstate.
CBS 11 News reporter Arezow Doost and photographer Tom Riehm were on the way to another car crash in north Fort Worth when they stumbled upon this incident. The brother and sister were standing outside of the crashed car and had not even called for help yet.
Riehm dialed 911 and first responders arrived within about 30 seconds. A tow truck was able to get the car flipped over and removed from the scene. Several lanes of the highway were shut down while workers were cleaning up the mess.
The brother was not hurt during the crash, but his sister was taken to a nearby hospital complaining of chest pain.

North Texans are urged to stay inside if at all possible. Anyone who absolutely must leave their home is warned to drive with extreme caution. There are still many icy patches on DFW area roads, and conditions can be very dangerous.
