PD: Husband And Stepdaughter Caught In Texas Staged Baltimore Woman's Murder
HARLINGEN, Texas (CBSNEWS.COM) - The husband and stepdaughter of Jacquelyn Smith, a woman killed after her husband said she was murdered while giving money to a panhandler from her car window, have been arrested near the Mexican border in Texas for her death.
Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh says Smith was killed by family members, in a "staged brutal killing."
The pair have been arraigned in Cameron County, are being held without bail and have agreed to be extradited.
