Hundreds Of Healthcare Jobs Coming To Irving
IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - Christus Health announced Friday it is consolidating some of its Texas corporate offices to Irving.
The move will affect nearly 50 people in San Antonio and at least 700 employees in Houston who are being asked to transfer to North Texas.
A Christus spokesperson expects between 650 and 700 people to work in the new, consolidated office in Irving.
The move will be staggered starting this summer. The consolidation is expected to finish by the middle of next year and save the group $60 million over the next decade.
Christus Health is a Catholic, not-for-profit health system including more than 50 hospitals.
