Holocaust Survivors Speak For "Peace Day Dallas"

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Three holocaust survivors will speak at the Dallas Holocaust Museum in recognition of the International Day of Peace on Sunday.
The survivors will tell their stories for "Peace Day Dallas — Meet Three Holocaust Survivors," an event the museum is hosting. Each will speak individually for an hour at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Jack Repp (pictured) was the first speaker. Repp said he was in various ghettos and concentration camps — including Kielce, Auschwitz and Dachau — and a death march. He said he was liberated by American soldiers and came to the US in 1949.
These speakers were children during the Holocaust, according to the museum. Due to the somber nature of the topic, the museum recommends only bringing children who are 9 years old or older.
