Hit-And-Run Driver Hits Boy On Richardson Sidewalk
RICHARDSON (CBSDFW.COM) - Richardson police say they have found the woman they believe hit a 12-year-old boy Thursday night and then drove away.
Richardson police say they found the SUV they were looking for parked in front of the woman's house. Now they're performing interviews and gathering evidence.
"We've been in some contact with them and have had some brief conversation with them," said Sgt. Kevin Perlich with the Richardson Police Department. "There has not been any arrests or anything like that made. But depending upon the results of this search there may be some additional developments on it [the case]."

Witnesses say the boy was riding a go-cart on the sidewalk near Heights Park, along Floyd Road in Richardson.
Twilight Trail dead-ends into Floyd Road and that's where police say the hit-and-run driver blew through the 'T' shaped intersection.
"Instead of making a 90-degree turn, she made about a 45-degree turn and then jumped up onto the curb line and over the cross/sidewalk and hit the child," said Perlich.
The child and the go-cart were dragged several feet. The woman then made a U-turn in the park and drove off without stopping to help the boy.
Perlich believes the driver knew she'd hit the child. "The woman continued to proceed through the park, on the grass, was able then to I guess gain control of her vehicle, turn it around and that's when she would have driven past the child and the go-cart."
Witnesses told police the SUV was dark blue or black and that the driver had a white dog in the car with her.
Friday morning, the boy was in serious condition at Children's Medical Center. He suffered a serious head injury and had to undergo emergency surgery.
