Grapevine Police Officer Hurt In Crash
GRAPEVINE (CBSDFW.COM) - A Grapevine Police officer assisting another motorist was hurt early Friday after getting involved in an accident in the DFW Connector Project.
The crash happened around 2:15 a.m. on the northbound lanes of State Highway 121 under William D. Tate Avenue.
Police said a small car ran into the back of the officer's Chevy Tahoe.
The officer was taken by ambulance to Baylor Hospital in Grapevine, but the extent of his injuries was not known.
The female driver who hit the officer was arrested, but police have not yet said what charges she might face.
