Only one city in North Texas has the official proclamation of The Christmas Capitol of Texas. The Texas State Senate declared Grapevine the Official Christmas Capitol of Texas in 2009.
"The events have grown year after year, and now we have more than 1400 events in forty plus days throughout the entire season" said Leigh Lyons of the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Tonight's Parade of Lights kicks off at 7 pm on Main Street in Grapevine. You'll want to mark your spot early as a record crowd is expected.
