Grand Prairie Police Investigate Fatal Shooting At Sports Bar

GRAND PRAIRIE (CBSDFW.COM) -- One man is dead after a shooting at a sports bar in Grand Prairie early Sunday morning.
According to officials, just after 3 a.m., Grand Prairie police officers responded to a shooting at the Las Balones Sports Bar (540 S Carrier Parkway). Officers located an adult male victim in the parking lot, unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Officials have identified the victim as 21-year-old Raul Bustamante, who was a member of a local band that was playing at the sports bar.
Witnesses told police that a gray SUV pulled into the parking lot moments before the shooting. An unknown suspect stepped out of the SUV, from the rear passenger door, possibly wearing a mask, and shot the victim multiple times.
The suspect stepped back into the SUV, which sped off. This case is in the early stages of investigation, but detectives are talking to witnesses to gather more information about the identity of the shooter.
