Granbury Police Looking For Driver That Killed Teenager

UPDATED | April 14 2017 10:15 PM - Police said "someone" has come forward and taken responsibility for the hit-and-run that killed 19-year-old Blythe Craig Baggett.
GRANBURY (CBSDFW) - A father wants justice after his 19-year-old is killed while riding his skateboard Thursday night in Hood County.
Police say Blythe Craig Baggett was struck by a vehicle heading West on Acton Highway around 10 p.m.
"He had earbuds in and was listening to music. He had a white tee shirt and a flashlight and was hit so hard it knocked him about 50 feet," his father Brian Baggett says.
According to authorities, the vehicle didn't stop and Baggett landed in a nearby ditch. The teen was only located after passing pedestrians saw debris in the roadway.
"He was actually found by a friend of his, and she didn't even recognize him. That's how bad he was," Baggett says.
Baggett was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to a local funeral home.
"He could make you laugh all the time. He always tried to make you laugh. He loved his family, his sisters and little nieces and nephews, always wanting to hold them and play with them," his father says.
Police don't know what type of car hit Baggett, but say it will have damage to the front passenger side and is missing a mirror.
