Governor Perry Defends Choice to Avoid Debates (Video)
Governor Perry today defended his decision to avoid debates with his Democratic Challenger Bill White and meeting with newspaper editorial boards. The governor has been called a "coward" in ads running in newspapers around Texas.
For months, the governor has insisted that the former Houston Mayor release tax returns because "he's hiding something" and "I'm not required to debate him."
