Governor Abbott Suffered Burns Before Dallas Visit

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - According to his spokesman, Governor Greg Abbott suffered second- and third-degree burns on his legs and feet before he visited Dallas to show support after the officer ambush.
According to his spokesman, Governor Abbott was on vacation in Wyoming when he accidentally burned himself with hot water. He had to go to a hospital.
His spokesman said Abbott must get his burns dressed everyday for the time being.
According to his spokesman, Abbott cut his vacation short to visit Dallas to show support for Mayor Mike Rawlings, police, and citizens.
His aides said Abbott was focused on Dallas and did not mention his burns during interviews.
