Glory's Last Shot Is One Last Shot For Tiger
KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. (AP) - Winning a major is the final piece for Tiger Woods to put his game back together. It looked inevitable at the start of the major championship season, when Woods won at Bay Hill and became the favorite every time he played.
But for the fourth straight year, he comes to the final major of the season without one.
Woods at least likes his chances better than his previous two times at the PGA Championship. One year, he was on the verge of getting divorced from his wife and finding a new swing coach. The next, he had played hardly any golf because of a leg injury.
Adding to the mystery of how Woods will perform is an Ocean Course at Kiawah Island that few have played.
